Richard the Mover HISTORY:

    

     Some of you may be familiar with the founder, J. Richard Cormier.  He started Richard the Mover and spawed into J. Richard’s Furniture of Lawrence, MA.  Richard The Mover was part of the furniture store for numerous years until Richard's son, David, took over the company in 1984.

     RTM has remained a small business.  Our roots are now in Southern New Hampshire but we have never forgotten where we started.  Our geography has expanded with numerous “long hauls” extending south to Florida and west to Ohio.  Our dedication to being on time, standing behind our estimates, and maintaining a hard work ethic, continues to bring in repeat business.  With 80 to 90% of our business coming from word of mouth, we have a proven record for exceeding our clients expectations time and time again.
